The MSD Enhancer for the Yamaha® Banshee allows you to optimize the ignition timing curve to get the most performance you can out of the engine. The Enhancer plugs directly into the stock wiring, replacing the Yamaha CDI under the rear fender and coils. Once your initial timing is set-up you can change the timing curve between 21° and 28° with the dip switches instead of having to open up the engine and move the stator around. The built-in Holeshot feature allows predictable launches at the starting gate with a momentary switch hooked up, and the Holeshot rev limit switches set on. A hotter spark - with twice as much spark energy compared to the stock ignition - means a crisper throttle, less bogging off the line, and cleaner spark plugs. The supplied 7.2-volt battery will power the ignition for about 2 hours before it needs recharging. An optional MSD NiCad fast charger is available below. The complete kit consists of - the Enhancer, MSD coil, 7.2-volt NiCad battery and mounting bracket.
